    Mark your calendars for the 1st edition of the Christmas Charity Run 5K! Dress up in your best festive costume and join us for a fun-filled celebration of the season. 50% of ticket sales will be donated to Balabala Foundation, giving hope to street children

Our 2024 Event Highlights

  • Great turn-out of the 3rd Breast Cancer Awareness 5K 2024 with $1,400 raised

    A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on October 6! Over 350 participants ran or walked through the streets of Kinshasa, united in the fight against breast cancer in the DRC. Together, we raised $1,400 for Foundation Bomoko!

  • Successful 4th edition of the Congo River Marathon with course record broken

    Over 1,000 runners from 30+ countries came together, with the USA, UK, and Congo-Brazzaville leading the international pack. A special shoutout to Kennedy Lilian from Kenya for breaking the course record with an amazing 2:22:49!

  • 4th Congo River Mini Marathon Success

    On May 5th, we celebrated community spirit with schools, kids, and families running the 2K and 5K routes. Thanks to your dedication, the 4th Congo River Mini Marathon was a fantastic success. Thank you for joining us!

  • Great turn-out of Girls & Women Fun Run 2024

    With over 300 participants from more than 20 nationalities, we hit the streets on March 3, in celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s Month and raised together $1,650 for Women For Women International. A massive thank you to everyone who took part!

Creating community

It all began with an idea, passion for running and the motivation to create community. In August 2021 we successfully launched our first edition of Congo River Marathon (Africell Congo River Marathon) with 24 different nationalities running together in the heart of Africa.
